Hawke’s Brewing, a valued customer of Orora Cans, is co-founded by Bob Hawke himself, and captures the essence of classic Australian tasting beer, offering a range of Lagers, Pale, and XPA beers, all specially packaged in Orora’s Classic 375ml Cans.

Orora has further enhanced its innovative design capability through Orora Express, a new customer portal than allows Cans customers to see their packaging designs take shape in real time, including viewing lifelike 3D renders of can artwork.

Orora is proud to announce it has commenced operation of one of Australia’s most sustainable wine glass furnaces in Gawler, South Australia. The newly rebuilt furnace is powered in part by oxyfuel technology drawn from our very own onsite oxygen plant. This exciting step moves Orora’s furnace into the top 10% of energy efficient furnaces worldwide.

Orora has committed to a significant ~$130M investment to expand production capacity at its Rocklea facility in Queensland, supporting increased demand for 375ml classic-sized cans. The Rocklea expansion, in combination with recent and ongoing projects, will increase Cans capacity by more than 30%.

Leading sustainable glass bottle maker, Orora, has expanded its offering in the food category, with the production of 500ml, 375ml, 300ml and 250ml glass jars. Home grown heroes, Spring Gully Foods, were the first to take delivery of Orora’s new 500ml glass jars to package their Sweet Spiced Gherkin Rounds.

This year more than 120 Craft Brewers entered the 2024 GABS Can Design Awards competition from Australia and New Zealand, with the most unique and eclectic designs once again submitted, all determined to take home the Orora Golden Can Trophy.
